Is Your Grass Dry?

Are the lawn and home landscape both becoming too dry? The first thing you may want to check is your irrigation system.  This is a common contributor to a yard lacking moisture.

It is hot and dry in Orlando these days, and it’s only going to intensify as the summer begins.  During the summer, it is going to be hot for long periods of time-you may need to use little extra water. This could mean having to run your rotor zones for 1.5 to 2 hours! You may also need to run your sprays for around 30 minutes.

Sometimes when it is hot, the simplest solution is that you need to use more water. Of course, you must be responsible and not over water, and make sure you do not have any broken heads or pipes. Use enough water to keep your lawn green.
