Water Restrictions

Did you know that we have local watering restrictions because the high quality groundwater that provides us with our drinking water is one of our most valuable natural resources. As the population continues to grow we face the threat of not being able to use the water they way we do now unless we place water restrictions on property owners.

Each county has their own water restrictions and you should check with your County so that you know when you can and cannot water your yard.

Here are some helpful hints:

Seminole & Orange County : Water only when needed and not between 10am and 4pm on ANY day of the week.

– Even numbered street addresses and no addresses : Thursdays & Sundays
– Odd numbered street addresses : Wednesdays & Saturdays
– Nonresidential Properties: Tuesday & Friday
– Water for no more than one hour per zone

These water restrictions apply to everyone in Seminole & Orange County who uses water for lawn and landscape irrigation, regardless of whether the water comes from a private well, surface water, or a water supply utility.
