2 wire controls Hunter ACC and Rain Bird MDC

Throughout our many years in the Orlando irrigation business we come to learn what frustrations our customers have with products. Lately,  people are having problems with the 2 wire controllers. The ACC and MDC are not as forgiving as the conventional controllers. Instead of having a wire for each valve and a wire for all of the valves you now have 2 wires for all of the valves. On a 2 wire system you also have a decoder. The controller talks to the decoder and tells it to turn on. With the 2 wire system you can turn on up to 10 decoders at one time. The decoders system is a much better system than conventional for commercial projects in Orlando. They are more friendly to a weather station and central controls. The biggest problem with it is human error. Bad wire splicing and wrong split kits are most of the problems. When the 2 wire systems are well maintained they are very easy to control the irrigation systems.
