How Do I Winterize My Sprinklers?

In Central Florida, it is not necessary to winterize your irrigation system. It is more than likely that you will need to use the system during the Florida winter. It is common to need irrigation about 2 times per month. Yes, only twice a month. Our ET (evapotranspiration) rate is below 2 inches per month in December, January and February.

The bottom line is that there is no real winter in Central Florida. You will need yourOrlando irrigation system at some point. Just keep the water use low and save the water for the summer.
