Low Pressure
So you have low pressure. That may not be the case. First you need to check the static water pressure. Static water pressure is the pressure reading when water is not moving. That is your real water pressure. Then you want to check your Dynamic water pressure. Dynamic water pressure is the pressure reading when the water/ zone is running. On a residential system that uses city water you should have a static water pressure around 65 PSI. You dynamic water pressure should be no less than 25 psi drop. Your operating pressure should be around 40PSI. If you have a pump or well this could change. Most of the time when people complain about LOW Water Pressure it is not the water pressure.
Water pressure and Volume are related. The more volume you use the less pressure you have. Also you can only fit a certain amount of water through each size pipe. As the water flows through a pipe it has friction loss. The water rubs on the pipe and slows down as it moves. This also cause pressure loss. The biggest reason people have low pressure is Human error. Wrong size pipe, using more water than is available.
Just make sure you have the right size pipe, the correct amount of water being used on a zone and your static water pressure is good. If all these items are correct then you have another problem.
