When Your Irrigation Timer Isn’t Working

If your irrigation system stopped working and you surmise it has something to do with the controller / timer, here are a few things to check:

  • This may seem like a no-brainer, but make sure the water to the irrigation system is on.  It’s surprising to see how many solutions are typically the simplest ones.
  • Make sure the rain sensor is not active.  It’s always possible that it could have rained last night and you didn’t notice it.
  • Make sure you have power running to the controller.
